Below is a map showing Oxley Island relative to Taree, Old Bar, and the Pacific Highway. Taree is a town of around 20,000 people and has all major services. The farm is 20 minutes from Taree, and about 15 minutes from excellent beaches and safe swimming areas such as Wallabi Point and Saltwater, which are just to the south of Old Bar.
Old Bar is a village of 3,500, and has excellent fish and chip shops, an outstanding bakery, cafes/restauarants, a BiLo shop, doctors surgery and other services. Oxley Island has its own well resourced public school, and is serviced by school buses to Taree.
